Civil War

A conflict is escalating in the Underdark among the noble drow houses, a realm shrouded in darkness where intrigue and betrayal are as common as the shadows that cling to its vast caverns. A string of terrible incidents has pitted the drow against one another, leading to a spiraling series of skirmishes and confrontations that threaten the delicate balance of power in this treacherous environment. A group of diverse characters, ranging from 14th to 18th level, must navigate the web of deception, cunning tactics, and political maneuvering that envelops the drow society. They face the daunting task of uncovering the party responsible for these vile acts, or else they risk not only their own lives but also the looming threat of drow genocide hanging over the entire race. Their quest is fraught with peril, as they must also stop the awakening of an ancient and evil god, a being whose return could spell doom for all, even if it means facing him directly and confronting their worst fears in the depths of the Underdark.
